Barely 48 hours of threatening to pull out of the Ghana Premier League, BA Stars have rescinded that decision.
However, the club has requested their last three matches be played back on national television within seven days to buttress their claim of bias officiating against them.
“We have decided to play the league because we owe it to our supporters and many people, but that does not mean we won’t chicken out if the right things are not done,” Vice-president of the club Elias Acheampong told the press at a conference.
“We’ve given them seven days to show our last three matches on national television so that everybody will be in a position to know whether what we’ve been saying all along is a lie or the truth. If they don’t do that, we’ll advise ourselves because we won’t sit down for us to be cheated by some of these referees.”
