Tigo Ghana has appointed Gottfried Odamtten-Sowah as the Director of Tigo Business.
This forms part of Tigo’s strategy to further strengthen its cutting-edge solutions to business customers and empower Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to grow.
Before moving to the new role, Gottfried served as Manager, Commercial Business at Stanbic Bank Ghana and also deputized as Head, Small Business at Standard Chartered Bank Ghana.
With a career experience spanning over 15 years, Gottfried has a deep understanding of key industry sectors that are currently driving growth in the country. His scope of expertise covers partnering local corporates and SME’s for growth through relevant business life cycle strategies.
Commenting on his appointment, the Chief Executive Officer of Tigo Ghana, Roshi Motman, said: “Gottfried’s wealth of experience will be vital as we aim to customize value-for-money solutions for businesses.”
“With our improved network quality, we want to grow and increase efficiency of businesses by providing them with innovative digital products and world class service,” she explained.
Gottfried holds an MBA in Project Management from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Degree in Agricultural Economics from University of Ghana, Legon.
