Eastern Regional Minister Victor Smith has assured government will partner the Volta River Authority and Management of the Volta Hotel to replace the burnt Dodi Princess ferry.
The minister gave the assurance when he led a team to assess the extent of damage on the ferry Saturday.
Preliminary reports by the Fire Service indicate that the fire could have been started from the kitchen onboard.
Mr Smith, who described the incident as a “big blow for us all,” told Joy News government will do its best to deal with the situation.
