Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed is confident he has returned to his best after a shaky start to the season which saw him bag no goal in five games.
The young striker was tipped to be a leading figure for the Porcupines after a breakthrough season last year but a combination of poor fitness and a general team slump has meant he has been a bit part player until now.
However after an impressive outing against Liberty Professionals which saw him score his first goal of the season, many believe his resurgence has begun.
And Dauda is agreement with that.
“In preseason, my confidence was high but right at the beginning of the season, injury hampered my progress,” he told Adom FM Sports
“So my playing time became limited and I was only making 15-30 minutes cameos.”
“In our last league game against Liberty, my performance was good because I am fit now.”
“So now it is a turning point and we can work on that going forward.”
Up next for Dauda and his team is a tricky test away to Dreams FC in Dawu.
