A 37 year old graduate teacher, Simon Sahira has been found dead behind his house at Weta Junction in the Ketu District of the Volta region.
The man is suspected to have committed suicide by hanging himself on a tree behind his house.
He was found after his family mounted a search following his disappearance the night before.
The body has been deposited at the St. Anthony Hospital for autopsy.
In an interview with Ivy Setordjie of Victory FM, a cousin of the deceased said Sahira came back home from Cape Coast few days ago but was not in a good mood.
“Nobody knew what was wrong with him. We only woke up to find him dead; hanged on a mango tree.
According to her, the decease was an orphan.
