A group calling itself Intellectual Eye is urging the former Chief Executive Officer of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Professor Kwabena Frimpong Boateng, to contest for NPP flag bearer position for the 2012 elections.
The group says the heart surgeon represents a true leader to redeem the country from its many challenges.

It says many of the country’s leaders and professionals failed to live up to the expectations of the masses.
Intellectual Eye has members in nine tertiary institutions nationwide.
It says its decision to support Professor Frimpong Boateng is in the interest not only of NPP but the ordinary Ghanaian as well.
Chairman of the group, Prince Agyei-Nyarko has told Luv FM it is time for the nation to search for truthful, loyal and intellectual leaders like Prof Frimpong Boateng.
