Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan has given his full backing to Coach Milovan Rajevac who led the Black Stars to a quarter final berth in the just ended World Cup.
The contract for the Serbian runs out in August but the desire to have his contract renewed is never in doubt.
Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi had given his indication that the FA will renew the contract if it eventually runs out.
Asamoah Gyan has reinforced the need for Ghana to maintain the Serbian describing him as a tactician.
“Statistically, he has done so well for the country,” he said adding, “tactically he is very good on the field.
He knows how to arrange the players on the field," he told Joy Sports’ Ridwan Ibrahim Asante.
“He makes sure he doesn’t concede a goal and then he attacks. For me he is very important,” he added.
