Esperance defender Harrison Afful is relishing a great return to the Black Stars after he was named in a provisional 30 man list for the World Cup qualifiers double header.
The former Kotoko star makes a return for the first time in two years with his last international tournament being the Angola 2010 Cup of Nations.
Sacked Coach Goran Stevanovic came under heavy criticisms for excluding the fluid and attacking left and right full back from the 2012 Gabon and Equatorial Guinea tourney who had a terrific season with Esperance.
He makes a return in Coach Akwasi Appiah’s first call-up and believes Ghana will always have the best of him.
“I am very happy because I have been waiting so long for this call up and at long last God has been so good.
“Being called up again I’m going to do my maximum best and be in the team.
I will do my best to win a position in the team again,” he told Joy Sports.
