Overview
Enhance the natural beauty of your lips, using the same technique professional makeup artists use to make famous women's lips look fuller and more defined. You can change the shape of your lips and make your lips look plumper, using basic cosmetic items, in about five minutes.
Step 1
Apply foundation over your lips, using a cosmetic sponge. Use the same foundation that you use on your entire face. The foundation makes a clean canvas for applying lipstick.
Step 2
Set the foundation by applying a translucent face powder on your lips, over the foundation, using a cosmetic sponge. The powder sets the foundation in place and helps keep your lipstick on.
Step 3
Draw an outline around the outside edges of your lips, with a lip liner pencil that's the same color as your lipstick. This gives your lips a defined shape. To make lips look fuller, draw the line slightly outside your natural lip line.
Step 4
Color in your lips at the outer edges by the corners of your mouth, using the lipstick pencil. Leave the fuller center areas of your lips uncolored. Coloring in your lips at the outer edges makes the center of your lips look fuller.
Step 5
Apply your lipstick color over your entire lips, using a lipstick brush. Use the lipstick brush to blend the lipstick and lip liner together so that the lip liner is no longer obvious.
Step 6
Dab a bit of a shimmery, light-colored lip gloss on the center of your lower lip, using a lipstick brush. Gently blend the lipgloss with the surrounding lipstick on the bottom lip so that the lip gloss doesn't look obvious. The lip gloss on the center of your lower lip gives you a full-mouthed and pouty look.
