UK-based Ghanaian gospel musician Alice McKenzie says she is the most popular Ghanaian artiste in the UK.
Speaking in an interview on Daybreak Hitz, with DJ Slim, she noted that her exploits in the UK have earned her that bragging right.
According to her, she came to this conclusion based on her relevance and consistency in her field.
‘If we are talking about relevance and consistency, I currently consider myself the biggest gospel artiste in the UK. It's because of what I’ve been doing. I’m doing a lot in the society over there and I think I deserve it.’
McKenzie, celebrated for her powerful vocals and inspiring lyrics, is currently in Ghana to promote her latest single, “Beautiful.”
Produced by Kaywa, “Beautiful” is a melodic testament to McKenzie’s talent and dedication to her craft. The song is already making waves and resonating with gospel music lovers.
Alice, who doubles as a nurse, also spoke about her foundation – Alice McKenzie Foundation – which helps pregnant women who go through a lot during labour.
The Foundation is working on an event slated for August 3rd with the venue to be announced via her social media pages.
