Jamie Vardy scored in his 11th game in a row to set a new Premier League record, netting in the first half against Manchester United.
Ruud van Nistelrooy's record of 10 - set while at United - stood for 12 years but Vardy, facing the meanest defence in the division, surpassed the mark set by the Dutchman at the King Power Stadium.
Vardy netted his 14th goal of the season when he latched onto Christian Fuchs' pass and fired in across David De Gea from 12 yards after Kasper Schmeichel had launched a quick break from a United corner.

The 28-year-old's run started with a late penalty in the 1-1 draw at Bournemouth in August and has included braces against Arsenal and Southampton, a winner against Watford and the record-equalling strike at Newcastle last week.
Three-and-a-half years ago Vardy had just spearheaded Fleetwood to promotion to the Football League for the first time in their history.
However, fast forward to 2015 Vardy is now an England international and the Premier League's 14-goal top scorer since becoming non-league football's first £1million player when he joined the Foxes from Fleetwood in 2012.
