Welcoming the delegation, Mr Brew-Butler expressed appreciation for Japan’s long-standing partnership with Ghana.
“We are honoured to host this distinguished delegation and to showcase the KIPP project, which reflects our commitment to reliable power generation, operational excellence and long-term national development,” he said. “The confidence expressed by the Japanese Government reinforces Ghana’s position as an attractive destination for strategic energy investments.”

The Japanese State Minister for Foreign Affairs commended Cenpower for its role in strengthening Ghana’s power supply, while the Japanese Ambassador to Ghana reaffirmed Japan’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote sustainable growth, private-sector participation and energy resilience across Africa.
He noted that the KIPP project aligns strongly with Japan’s development cooperation priorities.

“The KIPP project was designed and operated to meet the highest international standards of safety, efficiency and environmental responsibility,” he said.
“We are pleased to demonstrate firsthand how the project continues to deliver reliable power to support Ghana’s industrial and economic growth.”
