"Jazz is the only music in which the same note can be played night after night but differently each time." Ornette Coleman's words perfectly captured the essence of the unforgettable night of jazz at the 233 Jazz Bar, where the renowned Israeli trio, Yogev Shetrit Trio, performed to a captivated audience.
As part of their West African tour, the trio made a stop in Ghana, receiving the famously warm welcome from the motherland.
Founded in 2016, Yogev Shetrit Trio brought their original jazz compositions to life, leaving patrons in awe of their creativity and talent.

Speaking to JoyNews on the sidelines of the event, Roey Gilad, Ambassador of Israel to Ghana, emphasized the importance of collaborations and promised to help strengthen the Ghana-Israel relationship through cultural exchange programs.
Shetrit and his trio have captivated audiences across more than 30 countries, performing at world-class venues such as the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., Casa Del Jazz in Rome, and the International Panama Jazz Festival.

Ghana is thrilled to have them back for a second performance.
The Yogev Shetrit Trio's visit is a testament to the growing cultural exchange between Ghana and Israel, and we look forward to more such collaborations in the future.
