All is set for the Ghana Consulting Engineers week celebration slated for Wednesday, December 6 to Friday, December 8, 2017, at the Engineers centre, Roman Ridge, Accra.
The President of the Ghana Consulting Engineers Association (GCEA), Ing. Albert Ogyiri has revealed the celebration is under the theme, ‘The role of Consulting Engineers and the Development Agenda of Ghana’ and is expected to attract over 200 participants including Government officials, local Administrative Authorities and Directors of member Consulting Engineering firms in the country.
The Guest Speaker for the program is the Minister for Railway Development, Hon. Joe Ghartey.
President of Ghana Institution of Engineers, Ing. Mrs Carlien Bou-Chedid, GAMA President, Mayor of Accra Metropolitan Assembly and sister bodies in the Built Environment will also be present.
The GCEA is made up of legally constituted Indigenous Ghanaian firms and Individuals practising consulting engineering in Ghana.
The GCEA is committed to the development of the capacity of consulting engineering firms to effectively harness the human resources for the development and sustenance of Ghana’s infrastructure.
The Ghana Consulting Engineers Association is a member of the Association of International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) and GAMA.
Activities include Technical sessions, workshops, Annual General Meeting and Exhibition.
