May Day this year is going to be different for many people in Accra who will meet and have fun at the Corporate Chill Out event being organized by Joy FM and Graphic Showbiz at the Mayacova Beach Club near Artist Alliance, La, Accra.
The event is aimed at bringing together Joy FM, Graphic Showbiz and their partners in the corporate world to release all the stress from work and just have fun on a day set aside to celebrate the contribution of workers.
Also, it will be an occasion for networking in a social setting where happy people will interact more freely. This way, they are able to exchange ideas freely, which is anticipated to bringing profound benefits.
At the Corporate Chill Out, which also forms part of activities marking the 20th anniversary of The Multimedia Group, Joy FM will operate from the beach resort and corporate guests will have the opportunity to host programmes of the station alongside Joy FM presenters throughout the day.
In addition to good food and a wide range of drinks to choose from, patrons can have a go at swimming in the pool of the resort, adult musical chairs, darts, board games, karaoke, charades, among other mature competition while soaking in the breeze from the Atlantic Ocean.
The day will also see winners of the Graphic Showbiz selfie competition receive their prizes.
Of course, Corporate Chill Out day cannot end without a jam. The event will be crowned with a late night jam which will be a blend of 90s Jam where patrons are expected to reminisce the ‘old skuul days’ as they dance and listen to good old pop, funk, disco music will flow till the last man drops.
