JOY FM has been shortlisted as Business Radio Station of year in the maiden Gold Awards for Business Journalism.
The Awards which is scheduled to take place this Saturday is aimed at rewarding journalist who have excelled in areas of business, economic and financial reporting.
It is also aimed at improving the quality of economic and business reportage in the country.
The awards are put together by event production house, MOSOE in partnership with the Institute of Financial and Economic Journalists.
JOY FM has been shortlisted together with two other radio stations - Radio Ghana and Citi FM.
In all, about 19 awards would be given out on the day.
Gold Awards for Business Journalism is sponsored by World Bank, State Housing Corporation, Stanbic Bank and is hosted by Airport West Hotel.
