Your Super Station Joy 99.7 FM has presented a prize package of an all expense paid trip to Johannesburg, South Africa to the ultimate winner of the Sing For Love promotion that was organized by the station to celebrate the month of love.
The winner of the two-week promotion, Mrs Dilys Hobenu, was presented with her package at a short ceremony at the premises of the station Tuesday.
Agnes Gyan-Agyei, Senior Manager for Reality Vacation Innovation (RVI), sponsors of the romantic trip to South Africa, with the support of Max Fugar, Senior Sales and Marketing Manager for Joy FM, presented the prize to the winner.
She would be accompanied on the trip by her husband, Fred Hobenu.
The trip coincides with the couple’s 10th wedding anniversary. Elated Mrs Hobenu disclosed that trip will serve as a perfect ‘honeymoon’ for them since they hardly have time for such vacations due to their heavy work schedules.
The promotion was opened to young executives, managers and senior managers between the ages of 25–40 years. A song from a chosen artist was played at the background for the callers to sing along.
The promotion was aimed at testing listeners' ability to sing along correctly to some selected love songs, specifically, dedicated to their spouses or partners.
Ten winners were selected from the two-week promotion.
In house judges vetted the ten finalists of which the ultimate winner was selected. The ten finalists won hampers from Baileys, Ice Watch and Black Secrets Make-Up.
Six of the ten winners also won a weekend stay at Afrikiko Riverfront resort, Akosombo, while the remaining walked away with a weekend stay at Beige Village Golf Resort and Spa at Nkawkaw, in the Eastern region.
