A new date and venue have been announced for the upcoming Joy Sports Invitational Tournament which is gathering momentum by the minute.
The event, originally scheduled for Monday, October 25, will now come off on Saturday, October 23 at the Legon Park.
Joy FM’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Mr. Max Fuga explained that change of date was to ensure that the games do not affect work and productivity.
He said given the first date was a Monday, there was the tendency for participants to complain of tiredness which will affect their output on Tuesday.
With the new date, participants can rest on Sunday and Monday (which is a holiday) and prepare well for work on Tuesday.
Mr. Fugar said the new venue will also enable organizers to take in more participating teams.
Meanwhile, the women’s penalty taking squad of Team Multimedia have already announced a sporting war on all contenders for this season’s title.
Goalkeeper Serlyne Ladzekpo who sustained an injury during season two at the El Wak Stadium said things will change this time round.
