Kedland International School has celebrated its first-ever Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols to mark the Christmas season.
Held at the school’s premises in Tema Community 19, the event featured a moving reenactment of the birth of Christ, interspersed with Bible readings. These readings illustrated the fall of humanity, God’s love, and His promises to mankind.

The children, who played key roles in the reenactment, delivered a powerful message for families and Christians worldwide: to hold firm to the promises of God.

In his sermon, Very Reverend Dr. Samuel Coffie, minister in charge of Emmanuel Methodist Church, Tema West Circuit, emphasized the importance of peace, particularly in light of the country’s peaceful elections.
He stated, “Peace is an invaluable commodity we must guard jealously. Ghanaians must unite and celebrate the festive season, which preaches love.”
Dr. Coffie further urged Christians to honor and glorify God, trusting Him to guide their steps and lead them to the blessings promised in the Bible.
Co-founder of Kedland International School, Naomi Chartey Odonkor, shared her thoughts on the season, calling Christmas a time of love and urging the school community to share with the less fortunate. Reflecting on the school's progress, she expressed confidence in a bright future for Kedland International, stating, “We have seen tremendous growth. 2025 looks promising, and we know we shall see good things.”
