Manchester City have suspended Kolo Toure after the defender tested positive for a 'specified substance'.The Ivorian, who moved to Eastlands in July 2009, failed a test conducted by the FA. As a result, the 29-year-old is not permitted by the club to take part in any first-team or reserve matches until a legal process has been resolved. The centre-back will therefore miss Saturday's Premier League encounter with Wigan."Manchester City confirm that the FA has informed Kolo Toure that an ‘A-sample’ provided by him has tested positive for a specified substance," said a statement on the club's official website."As result of this, he has been suspended from participating in all first team and non-first team matches pending the outcome of the legal process."There will be no further comment from the football club at this stage."Source: Goal.com
