Some women in the Ashanti Region are accusing the Member of Parliament for Asokwa Maxwell Kofi Juma of making derogatory remarks against former Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly.
They claim the MP in a radio discussion had alleged that somebody used sexual favours to unseat him as the Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly.
The group led by the NDC Regional Women’s Organizer, Ama Sarpomaa is threatening to stage nude demonstration if Mr. Jumah fails to apologise to the woman he was accusing.
But in an interview with Joy News the Asokwa MP said his comments have been misconstrued.
He however apologised if the comment might have hurt the sensibilities of the women.
