Ghana international midfielder Bernard Yao Kumordzi is expected to seal a three year deal with Belgian premier league giants KRC Genk on Friday July 13.The 27 year old versatile midfielder spent a major part of his professional career playing for Greek premier league side Panionios and finished the second half of the just ended European season playing for relegated French Ligue 1 club FC Dijon.Kumordzi has been instrumental for the senior national team the Black Stars and will be starring for KRC Genk in their UEFA Europa campaign in the coming season and has told JOY Sports in an exclusive interview “Genk is one of the top clubs in Belgium. I’ve been in contact with them since last summer, before I went to Dijon.”He expects “to win cups. They won the title two years ago and I am here to help them win more trophies. I think it is a good move for me at this age to win some titles in my career.”Bernard Kumordzi is yet to win a silverware with any of the teams he has played professionally.
