The Ghana Football Association(GFA) has appointed the younger brother of Abedi Ayew Pele, Kwame Ayew as a member of the reconstituted Black Stars Management Committee.
The former Boavista player has been a member of the Player Status Committee of the Ghana FA for some time now.
Ayew, who was a member of the 1992 bronze medal winning team at the Olympics in Barcelona, he then becomes the first retired player to serve on the committee.
The Ghana Football Association on Thursday announced changes to the various management committees of the national teams.
George Afriyie heads the Black Stars management committee and will be deputized by Kudjoe Fianoo.
In a related development, it is likely ex-captain Stephen Appiah will be invited to join the backroom staff of new coach Avram Grant.
