Multiple-award winner, Kwaw Kese, has once again done something a lot of his colleagues in the music game would think twice before doing.
The ‘abodam’ crooner, last Friday walked onto the set of TV3’s live entertainment programme; Spotlight, with a dog.
He went on to present the canine to the host, Muntala Montari, as a gift in celebration of the programme’s two-year anniversary.
Most workers at the studio were both stunned and appreciative of Kwaw Kese’s kind gesture.
Kwaw seems to be the first entertainer to have presented a gift to the show on its anniversary.
The Spotlight crew was left with no option than to seek photo opportunities with the musician, who always stirs up controversy any time he is on air.
Before going on the show that morning, Kwaw Kese told Beatwaves that a gift should be something that one values so much that when it is given out the person feels some emptiness.
According to him, the dog has been his beloved pet for some time; hence the decision to give it out as a token of appreciation.
On the show, Kwaw told the host that he is praying for Konfi, the duo who had been saying all sorts of negative things about him lately.
He also said he disagrees with his fellow hip lifer, Obour, for saying hip life music was dead, and he was thus resurrecting it with a concert.
According to him, the likes of Reggie Rockstone, Obrafuor, himself, among others, are still around, doing their thing, hence there is no way one could say hip life is dead.
