Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard could be offered £1million a month if he moves to China, according to reports.
The 34-year-old is due to fall out of contract at the end of the season and it looks as though he will be heading to pastures new as Chelsea are in no rush to offer him a new one.
Lampard is playing a bit-part role this season and no longer figures in the long-term plans of Roberto Di Matteo.
The midfielder will not be short of offers and the chance to join David Beckham in the MLS is there, but he could decide to turn his back on America and head to China, where he will be offered big bucks.
Didier Drogba's club Shanghai Shenhua are ready to make him an offer he will struggle to refuse, while their Chinese Super League rivals Beijing Guoan are also keen.
The reports have claimed that Lampard will be offered £250,000 a week after tax to move to China and that could be too good for the midfielder to turn down.
