The Electoral Commission (EC) has come under heavy criticism for publishing the details of 17 million registered voters online ahead of the December 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
Whereas certain personalities have defended the Commission's actions saying it is within their mandate to do so, a section of the society have expressed dismay at the move, saying it breaches sections of the data protection law.
PM Express host, Evans Mensah will tonight engage the Director of Elections for the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP), Evans Nimako, EC Director of Electoral Services, Dr. Serebuor Quaicoe and Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Boamah Otokunor in an interaction to ascertain the basis of the decision.
The show promises to be engaging. It will also be livestreamed on all of JoyNews’ social media platforms.
