Over 20 European coaches have sent their CVs to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to be considered for the Black Stars vacant coaching post.
This comes just 24 hours after the GFA announced that they are searching for a new coach for the World Cup quarter finalists.
The position became vacant after Serbian Milovan Rajevac opted not to renew his expired contract with the Black Stars.
Coaches from different European countries have jumped at the opportunity seeking to lead the four-time African champions.
The most popular name among the CV is Portuguese manager Humberto Cuelho who has experience in coaching in Africa but his track record on the continent is not too impressive.
English, French, Spanish, Serbian, Dutch and Belgians coaches have all thrown in their application to be considered for the post.
But the Ghana Football Association is keen on appointing a competent coach whether the person is local or foreign.
They are expected to make an appointment instead of inviting several coaches for interviews before a decision is made.
This model proved successful with the appointment of Milovan Rajevac who led the Black Stars to their first World Cup quarter finals.
The Serbian also sent the Black Stars to the final of the African Cup of Nations for the first time since 1992.
