President John Dramani Mahama on Friday paid a short visit to Abuja Nigeria for talks with his brother and leader of Nigeria, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
The late afternoon meeting centered on the security situation in the sub-region and Nigeria's progress with the handling of the Boko Haram situation.
The two leaders also discussed and reviewed the sub-region's management of the Ebola Disease Virus and available information from the three infected countries of Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
President Mahama thanked the President, Government and People of Nigeria for their support to airlift Ghana's humanitarian aid to the three countries.
A total of 3,000 bags of Ghanaian-grown white long grain rice, 300 cartons each of Made in Ghana cooking oil, cocoa products and milk have been airlifted to support the three countries.
He also used the opportunity to discuss with his brother, President Jonathan, the challenges with the irregularity of gas supply by the West African Gas Pipeline project.
