Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris has been nominated for Lorient's player of the month award.
The 24-year old earned the nomination following his blistering form for the club in the month of January.
Waris who has so far scored seven goals this season in the French Ligue faces stiff competition from Sylvain Marveaux and Jimmy Cabot for the award.
If he wins the award it will be the second this season after winning it in the month of December.
