Some people say Ayawaso West Wuogon is their safe seat. They say you will vote for them even if they present to you a “goat” in their party colours as candidate for Parliament. I invite you to join hands with all residents working for the renewal of our constituency to reject this illogicality.In the year 2000 we rejected a similar illogicality, when for four good years the courts failed to determine who actually won the 1996 parliamentary elections. Our logical response led to the landslide victory for George Isaac Amo. That year, NDC, NPP, CPP, Independents and those who had closed their doors to politics came out in their numbers to vote for change. Unfortunately the strong party machine took over and he was ousted before he knew it. This is the history of our constituency. It is no safe seat for any party.This year 2012 our constituency needs renewal. I invite you to join hands with the progressives, dropping all the illogicalities like we did in the year 2000, and with the determination to fight for the interests of our communities, come out in our numbers to vote massively for change!
