Dear Friend,
You deserve an MP who solicits your views before speaking on your behalf as your Representative in Parliament. You deserve a Member of Parliament (MP) who works hard for your community throughout his term of office. This year you can make this happen when you vote for William Dowokpor as MP for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.
Dealing with issues of reliability in utility and public services, facilitating jobs for the youth, security to life and property; and speaking for you, the constituent are the changes you can see and feel, when, with your help I become the next MP.
Our nation needs a renewal and so do our constituency. Some people say Ayawaso West Wuogon is their safe seat. They say you will vote for them even if they present to you a “goat” in their party colours as candidate for Parliament. I invite you to join hands with all residents working for the renewal of our constituency to reject this illogicality.
In the year 2000 we rejected a similar illogicality, when for four good years the courts failed to determine who actually won the 1996 parliamentary elections. Our logical response led to the landslide victory for George Isaac Amo. That year, NDC, NPP, CPP, Independents and those who had closed their doors to politics came out in their numbers to vote for change. Unfortunately the strong party machine took over and he was ousted before he knew it. This is the history of our constituency. It is no safe seat for any party.
This year 2012 our constituency needs renewal. I invite you to join hands with the progressives, dropping all the illogicalities like we did in the year 2000, and with the determination to fight for the interests of our communities, come out in our numbers to vote massively for change! I am counting on you, your friends and family to make the difference. Your vote for me will make a whole lot of difference in the future of your community.
Very Best Wishes!
William Dowokpor
PPP Candidate, Ayawaso West Wuogon
