A 25-year-old tipper truck driver, Iddrisu Yakubu has been stabbed to death at Nayilifong in the Gushiegu Township of the Northern Region following a, misunderstanding over who has to be served first at a banku joint.
The suspect, Ziblila Ibrahim alias Bulubulu is in the grips of the Gushiegu district police command assisting with investigations.
The uncle of the deceased person, narrated that the duo had a misunderstanding at a banku joint over who should be served first.
The food vendor was reported to have served the deceased first, something Ibrahim did not understand.
According to the uncle of deceased the suspect shortly after having the misunderstanding with the deceased left only to return with a knife and a bowl to complete what he had started.
Ziblila was reported to have attacked Yakubu with the bowl after which he stabbed him in the ensuing battle.
He was later arrested by the Gushiegu police.
