Nollywood star actress, Maureen Solomon is making a comeback onto the Nigerian movie scene after quitting a few years ago.
Maureen who is a mother of three took time off the screens due to marriage life and children, but she now says she is back for good.
Explaining the circumstances leading to her absence and subsequent return, the actress said, “I went off the scene because I got married and couldn’t cope anymore, especially when the kids started coming, but I’m back now for good.”
She has since her return featured in five movies which are yet to be released.
Maureen entered the Nigerian movie industry in 2001 and interestingly her entry was by ‘luck’ as she bumped into an audition that her sister had attended.
She went there to look for her sister who was attending that particular audition but was rather asked to take part in the audition which subsequently landed her a role.
She has, since her entry into the Nigerian movie industry, featured in countless number of movies including Angel of My Life, Careless Soul, Final War, Not without My Daughter and Women Affair.
