The Managing Director of SCG Consulting, a leading provider of the Sage Pastel range of accounting, payroll and HR software, has been given a meritorious award in recognition for his sense of duty and readiness to support the growth, development and application of Management Accounting Principles in Ghana.
The award was presented to Mr. Justice Lartey at the CIMA Honours Night, which was held on the March 23, 2013 at the African Regent Hotel, in Accra.
The programme dubbed, “Building sustainable businesses in Ghana, the way forward,” was organized under the chairmanship of Mr. Stephen A. Asare, ACMA CGMA, and it sought to recognize the excellent performance of CIMA members, students and stakeholders.
Mr. Lartey received a certificate for being an outstanding member and for his contribution and unalloyed commitment to the institute.
The main speaker for the evening was Mr. Anthony Boateng LLM FCMA CGMA, Director, Finance and Administration, African Center for Economic Transformation, who spoke on the topic, “exploiting the opportunities and managing the challenges.”
CIMA is the world’s largest and leading professional body of management accountants that offers finance qualification for businesses.
