The patrons, executive, members and followers of MOVEMENT FOR MAHAMA join our voices to congratulate the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA.
After one of the most hard fought elections in Ghana's political history, it was with great sense of national pride and admiration as Ghanaians, Africans and the rest of the world witnessed the historic event.
With fearless dedication, hardwork, tolerance and humility, it is our prayer that President MAHAMA will continue to lead and inspire the youth of Ghana as he formally assumes office.
MOVEMENT FOR MAHAMA is proud to continue the work we began with dedication and fortitude to ensure a successful tenure of office for the president in the next four years and beyond.
The “BETTER GHANA” agenda will continue to manifest in all spheres of Ghanaian life and to be felt by all citizens regardless of political, gender or ethnic backgrounds.
As affirmation and testament to Ghana’s enviable position in Africa, the inauguration witnessed the presence of numerous Heads of States and governments from the continent including;
H.E. Jacob Zuma of South Africa, Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria, Alassane Ouattara of Ivory Coast, Macky Sall of Senegal, The President of Benin & African Union Chairman, Thomas Yayi Boni and former Presidents of Ghana, President Jerry John Rawlings & President John Agyekum Kufuor. The former UN Secretary General Dr. Kofi Annan was also present to illuminate the occassion.
With all these illustrious leaders of Africa present at the inauguration, the youth of Ghana have been inspired to be patriotic citizens and dedicated advocates for political inclusion and tolerance.
Once again MOVEMENT FOR MAHAMA is humbled and inspired by the leadership of President MAHAMA and will continue our grass-root campaign up to and beyond 2016.
