The Midwives Group on Friday said they have resolved not to embark on a strike action because such an action is not the best way to resolve their problems.
A statement signed by Ms Rizwana Hawa Amoako-Agyei, Acting Chairperson of the Midwives Group, said they were very much aware of disparities in their salaries and conditions of service.
However, they were having negotiations with the Ministry of Health to resolve all issues.
The Midwives Group comprises Principal Midwifery Officers, Senior Midwifery Officers, Midwifery Officers and Senior Staff Midwives.
The rest are Enrolled Staff Midwives and Community Staff Midwives.
