President Mills has warned people he accuses of politicizing the country’s security to stop or face the consequences.
He said the current situation where people play politics with the security of Ghana could ward off investors and retard national progress.
President Mills was addressing a gathering in the Upper East Region ahead of the climax of the region’s 50th anniversary celebrations today.
"Unfortunately there are some of us who are playing politics with security, they will report the truth, they will will want to latch on to their own lies."
The president said when "you have people whop are bent on sowing seeds of discord, disunity, strife and tension, then you know that these are people who do not want the forward match of our dear nation."
He promised that "they will live to regret the choice that they have made."
