Ghana football legend Mohammed Polo has added his voice to calls that former Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah should be re-appointed as coach of the team.
Reports in the media indicate that Appiah and two other expatriate coaches have been shortlisted for the job which became vacant following the departure of Israeli trainer Avram Grant.
Many are clamouring for the return of Appiah and Mohammed Polo in an exclusive chat with Joy Sports insists Appiah is the best person for the job
"I think Kwasi has proven himself and learnt a lot from what happened during his stay with the team so I think he is the best person for the job now," he said
"My concern is about Ghana winning the Nations Cup so if Kwasi is the one who can win as the title, let's give him the job."
The new coach is set to be appointed in April.
