Nsoatreman FC booked a place in the final of the MTN FA Cup following their win over Legon Cities on Saturday afternoon.
Apetorgbor Foster and Eric Osei Bonsu scored two quick goals in the opening half of the game to ensure the Nsoatre-based club achieved a historic milestone since their establishment as they claimed a 2-1 win.
Both teams had a bright start to the semifinal fixture but the game was halted after 25 minutes due to severe winds.
After a while, the two teams returned to the field for the continuation of the game with Nsoatreman scoring 10 minutes after the restart through Foster.
Osei Bonsu doubled the lead three minutes later to put Maxwell Konadu's side in the driving seat to their first-ever final.
During the latter part of the match, Legon Cities tried to level the score and were rewarded as William Adjei scored in the 60th minute to reduce the gap, intensifying the atmosphere.
However, Nsoatreman displayed remarkable composure and poise to book a slot in the final.
Nsoatreman will face the winner of the game between Bofoakwa Tano and Dreams FC.
