Joy Prime’s flagship analysis programme, Prime Insight, returns to the screens today, Saturday, 28th March 2026, with a dual agenda set to tackle both the future of Ghanaian politics and the dark history of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.
Host Blessed Sogah will lead a distinguished five-man panel from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., navigating through fresh political data and a renewed global push for historical accountability.

The first segment of the show will focus on the internal dynamics of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Following the release of the latest findings from Global InfoAnalytics, the panel will scrutinise public sentiment and the "leadership favourability" metrics within the opposition party.
Providing firsthand insight into these numbers is Mussa Dankwah, Pollster and Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, whose data-driven approach has become a cornerstone of political forecasting in Ghana.
Transitioning from local politics to a global human rights discourse, the programme will dedicate a significant segment to the recognition of slavery as the "Gravest Crime against Humanity." This follows recent international momentum, and a motion at the United Nations, aimed at securing formal reparations and justice for the centuries-long exploitation of African lives.
Historian Yaw Anokye Frimpong is expected to provide the historical context, tracing the legacy of the trade from its origins to its modern-day socio-economic consequences for the continent.
Joining the discussion to provide political and regional perspectives are:
- Maxwell Lukutor: MP for South Tongu.
- Solomon Owusu: Director of Communications for the United Party.
- Awal Mohammed: Member of the NPP Communications Team.
The inclusion of voices from across the political divide ensures a rigorous debate on whether the reparations agenda is being effectively leveraged by current African leaders or if it remains a purely academic exercise.
