Ghanaian artiste manager and entertainment pundit, Bullgod has some fond memories he had with his late mother.
As Hitz FM gears up toward its Mother’s Day celebration, the CEO of Bullhaus Entertainment shared how his mom would always have a cane with her anytime he came back from school and was about to do his homework. The thought of that made him paranoid because he felt the cane could land at this back anytime.
“My mom was crazy stern, so my mom you bring your homework home, and it’s on the table like this, and the cane to dey here, so I go watch the cane the entire time, waiting to get whipped so I could leave,” he said in Pidgin English.
The Entertainment pundit shared that when he grew up, he understood why his mom behaved the way she did because she was doing the job of both the mother and the father.
“But I understood her you know. She was mom also doing a dad’s job right but she was lovely.”
He also spoke about how his mom tried to protect him and his siblings from some adult scenes on TV.
“She tried as much as possible to protect us from what she could. I remember how she reprimanded me whenever I was watching TV and a romantic scene popped up.”
Bullgod went on to share the admiration he still has for his mother and thanked her for the impact she had on his life.
The artist manager shared the experience he had with his mother as a child in line with Hitz FM’s Mother’s Day promotion.
