Anything we buy from a shop has a manual which gives instructions on usage and assembling among other things. We read through the manual and follow the procedure in order to fix the thing if it develops a problem or falls apart. I recently bought a microwave and there was a manual which gave guidelines on how to use the microwave.

Which manual is guiding your life or which manual do you refer to in building your life? In life, some people use people like friends, colleagues, business partners, mentors as well as telenovelas and other things as their manual on which their life is built.

Every country has a manual, in the form of laws, with which the people are governed. Organizations have visions and missions by which they operate to achieve their goals, but as individuals which manual do we use to build and shape our lives?

In your marriage which manual do we use to build the good and solve issues? Are you using the Bible as a manual or the telenovela you watch, or a friend’s marriage?

When we get frustrated in life or don’t know where to turn to,; when we get confused, anxious, stuck or lose a job or want a baby; what manual do we use to comfort ourselves, get direction and hold on to for guidance? If you are a Christian, I recommend the Bible which is our manual inspired by God himself who is our Creator and manufacturer.

Hon Kennedy Agyapong in his recent expose has shown us the manual some Pastors are using to direct people. It is very sad to know that Christians have abandoned the word of God, which should be our basic manual with its directions on how to build our lives and deal with life issues, and are using manuals designed by pastors and other prophets.

Writing from a Christian perspective, we have a creator called God, and we are his products. He has a manual with which we must build our lives and that manual is the Holy Bible.

Every company after manufacturing a product, attaches a manual to it so users can follow to use the product. I believe God Almighty after creating us added the Holy Bible which is the manual on which we must build our lives. Fellow Christians, let us go back to the Creator’s manual.
