The fourth series of the New Year Kid's Party, organised by the Nana Amoasi VII Charity Foundation for children at Ekumfi Abor.
This year's party thrown for approximately 1,000 kids in Ekumfi Abor community and its surrounding communities, had the objectives of creating a festive and joyful experience within the rural community.
The essence lies in fostering community spirit, celebrating childhood, and providing a memorable event for the children who have limited access to such festivities.
Additionally, the event was meant to contribute to a sense of inclusion, happiness, and shared celebration within the community.
Aside from the usual food, drinks, toffees and biscuits, this year's event involved activities such as games, dancing, and gift sharing; that were necessary to bring the community together, promote social bonds and create a positive atmosphere for both children and their parents.
The leaders of the community and some visiting guests took turns to motivate, advise and render support to the kids and Nana Amoasi VII Charity Foundation.
Some of the visiting guests were the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ekumfi Ebenezer Monney, Nana Kwasi Nyame the Adontenhen of Ekumfi Ebuakwa; Ekumfi MP aspirant for the National Democratic Congress, Ekow Kwainoe; Dr. Benjamin Mensah, Mr Zhang from W-Young Sino Africa Agricultural Science and Technology Company Limited.
This year's Nana Amoasi VII Charity Foundation Kid's Party was ably supported by Kasapreko, Kaman Investment, the Sackey Family, Wine and Vittles, NKA Master Craftworks, Ekow Kwainoe, and Kays EasyHomes.
The Nana Amoasi VII Charity Foundation is aimed at helping to address issues confronting the Ekumfi Traditional Area, as well as providing needed support to develop the community.
The foundation aims to tackle the poor education, agriculture and health systems in the Ekumfi community.
So far over 22 Ekumfi youths in the fields of medicine, engineering, and law have been beneficiaries of Nana Amoasi VII Charity Foundation.
