Authorities of the National Sports Council say the changing trends in sports administration demands that the Council re-brands in order to achieve positive results.
The Council is hoping to recruit over 600 professionals and experts over the next three years as they launch their re-branding on Friday.
The Board Chairman of the National Sports Council, Kojo Bonsu, said immediately after assuming office, members of the board decided to aggressively pursue measures targeted at making the Council a commercially viable institution.
In that direction, they decided to rebrand the institution “so that we could have a new image so that people will start dealing with us.”
Mr Bonsu said the Council will unveil a new logo and that staff of the council had undergone training seminars, promising that within a year many things will change at the Council.
The council’s Chief Executive Officer, Worlanyo Agrah said the re-branding marks the beginning of many positive things to come.
He said the Board Chairman being a business-oriented person, he had introduced changes that will transform the Council.
