The leadership of the ruling National Democratic Congress has questioned the credibility of a new party formed by disgruntled NDC members in the Brong Ahafo region.
Members of the new party, the Real Democratic Patriots Party say they have decided to form the new party following alleged victimization because of their support for former President Rawlings.
But the National Organiser of the NDC, Yaw Boateng Gyan, expressed surprise at the formation of the new party. He tells Joy News it should be treated with contempt.
According to him, the focal person in the issue, Raphael Cubagee lacks credibility and cannot be taken seriously.
“[This guy] is one person who cannot even form a juvenile football club, he cannot,” Mr Gyan fumed.
