The National Democratic Congress said statements made by Mr Victor Smith, the personal assistance of former President J.J Rawlings on radio about the performance and integrity of the party’s Members of Parliament are his personal views and not that of the party.
In a statement issued by Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the General Secretary of NDC, he said the leadership of the party had expressed concern about those comments and therefore wishes that they should be regarded as his personal opinions but not that of the party.
“The leadership want to take this opportunity to unequivocally affirm its confidence in the integrity and capability of its Members of Parliament,” the statement said.
