Outspoken New Patriotic Party [NPP] Member of Parliament for Assin North Constituency in the Central region Kennedy Agyapong, has accused the National Democratic Congress of plotting to cause mayhem in the December polls.
Mr. Agyepong claimed he is in possession of a tape recording to that effect, which he promised to release in September after the NDC launched its campaign.
He said some security personnel to be deployed on election day at polling stations purposely to prosecute that agenda, in order to mar the elections.
Kennedy Agyapong made the allegation while addressing enthusiastic crowd at the Mantse Abgonaa on Saturday, where the opposition party launched its campaign ahead of the December elections.
The outspoken MP also said he will soon release information regarding alleged corrupt deals by government officials including some Ministers of state, who have allegedly amassed wealth within the last four years.
He told the supporters to be vigilant on election day to ensure the right things are done at the polling stations.
