Safeway Estates Limited, a local real estate developer has outdoored a new building technology that would replace the traditional brick and mortar building method.
The technology, christened Safeway Concrete Building Technology, is widely used in the USA, Italy and Denmark and can be used to build a complete 3-bedroom house within 7 days.
Speaking to Myjoyonline.com after the launch of the building technology, the marketing manager of Safeway Estates Believe Kweku Mensah said there are many advantages with the use of technology.
According to him, the new technology is not only cost effective, but it also has the ability to withstand earthquakes or tremors. He added that the technology has an inbuilt metric system which examines the quality of concrete or mortar, thereby eliminating the issue of human errors in the mixture of mortar among others.
The Marketing Manager stated that despite the numerous benefits that the new technology comes with, it is very affordable and would fit the pockets of the average Ghanaian.
Among some of the projects the technology has been used are the World Trade Center which surpassed the Empire State Building as the tallest building in New York.
