The National Petroleum Authority says the problem of gas shortage witnessed in various parts of the country should significantly improve in the next few days.
Consumers have in recent times complained about a shortage of the product but the authority has blamed it on the lack of storage materials and an increasing demand for the commodity.
NPA Spokesperson, Yaro Kasambata is however confident a consignment of LPG expected in the country will soon help arrest the situation.
He said the new consignment will augment the local production and in the process mitigate the effects of shortage in the system.
