Delegates of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) gathered at numerous polling stations across the country to select Parliamentary candidates to represent the party in the December 7 polls.
A total of 374 aspirants are contesting in 168 constituencies. Some of the aspirants contesting unopposed and would be acclaimed by delegates of the party in the various constituencies.
Many delegates jubilated and chanted victory songs as their candidates emerge winners.
Others also shed tears for their defeated candidates.
Supporters of victorious candidates throw caution to the wind as they flout the safety Covid-19 protocols in their jubilation.

A delegate identified as Tetteh who also doubles at Deputy Organizer of the New Patriotic Party for the Constituency was caught trying to vote for a parliamentary candidate at an electoral area he did not belong to.
