The National Service Scheme (NSS) has released the first batch of PIN codes to 13,353 eligible trained teachers for the 2024 service year.
This is to enable them to enroll for their mandatory one-year national service.
All eligible teachers are advised to visit the scheme’s website at www.nss.gov.gh to complete the online enrollment process.
According to a statement from the scheme’s secretariat on Monday, February 12, prospective service persons must pay a registration fee of GH¢40 at any branch of the ADB Bank to access the main enrollment platform.
Alternatively, payment of GH¢41 can be made via MTN MoMo for the same purpose, as indicated in the statement signed by the acting Director of Corporate Affairs, Ambrose Entsiwa Jnr.
Enrollment is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, February 14, and will conclude on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
“All eligible trained teachers are to ensure that they complete their online enrolment process themselves within the stipulated period,” the statement added.
